Dean Evans Stadium

Dean Evans Stadium is the home for the Kansas Wesleyan baseball program. Originally opening in 1992, “The Dean” featured one of the finest grass surfaces in the midwest, and in 2021 thanks to fundraising efforts by Salina Baseball Enterprises, Dean received a fully turfed surface, virtually reducing rainouts at the facility. The turf was just one of many renovation projects at the facility that include renovated dugouts, renovations to the press box, the addition of a patio area behind home plate that lets fans get right up to the action on the field, renovated bathroom facilities and umpire dressing room and a new ticket booth and single point entry. Future plans at the facility include a clubhouse building with team locker rooms, a permanent concessions building, new lighting and scoreboard, and other facility updates.
