Thank you for your interest in Kansas Wesleyan Athletics. The KWU Sports Information office has provided this information to assist in enjoying Kansas Wesleyan University Athletics.
Please feel free to contact any member of the staff with questions, requests or concerns. We look forward to working with you throughout the year.
There is limited working space in the press box at Graves Family Sports Complex and on press row at Mabee Arena. Media who plan on covering Kansas Wesleyan University Athletics should contact the KWU Sports Information office in advance to reserve a spot. The Sports Information office will make every effort to accommodate all media. The Sports Information office can be reached at 785.833.4402, or by email at sports.info@kwu.edu. Priority will be given to professional, primary media covering Kansas Wesleyan and the current game opponent, and any national or regional media outlets in the following order: 1. Professional and/or primary media covering Kansas Wesleyan; 2. Professional and/or primary media covering current game opponent; 3. National or regional professional media covering the game; 4. Professional media covering the game not affiliated with KWU or the opponent; 5. Student run media outlets, such as student radio stations or newspapers – unless they are serving as the official primary coverage for KWU or the current game opponent.
Visiting radio broadcast teams should notify the Sports Information office as far in advance of the game as possible so that space can be reserved for them in the press box or on press row. This includes school-run radio stations, as well as professional radio crews. Priority for available space is listed above and in the Media Credential Policy. For football games, visiting radio will be assigned the media booth on the south end of the press box, between the main area and the visiting coaches area. Other visiting media will be assigned a spot in the main area, or on the upper deck of the press box. For contests in Mabee Arena, visiting radio and media will have space available on the east end of press row near the visitor bench.
Please feel free to contact the Sports Information office if additional information is requested.
