Salina Tennis Alliance Tennis Center
Salina Tennis Alliance Tennis Center was completed in late 2022, and open to the public, the new tennis facility provides affordable clinics, lessons, open court usage, tournaments, and other opportunities for all ages and levels of tennis play. The facility was built through the generous support of local businesses, foundations, families, and other private donors, we were able to partner with the City of Salina to develop a 12-court community tennis center in Kenwood Park.
Salina Tennis Center is an all-outdoor tennis facility with 12 state-of-the-art laykold-surfaced hard courts (that’s the same surface the U.S. Open uses!). Other features include…
- All courts are lighted
- Junior progression lines
- Lighted hitting wall
- Water fountains with bottle fillers
- Shade pavilion
- Restroom access
Kansas Wesleyan has several ties to the facility. In addition to using it for practice and competition, head coach Brian Vancuren serves as the Director of Tennis, and several current and former KWU student-athletes serve as instructors at the facility.
