Everett Morgan Strength Training Center
The Everett Morgan Strength Training Center opened in 2008 with the completion of the Student Activities Center. The opening of the Center brought together the weight room, which was located in the basement of Pfeiffer Hall for several years and the fitness center area, which was located in the Bob D. Muir Physical Education Center together in one centralized facility.
Since its opening, the facility has undergone a couple major renovations, including new branding and paint scheming in 2014, and in 2021, the wall dividing the fitness area from the weight area was taken out to increase space in the facility for the university's growing team sizes, to better accommodate student-athletes and improve their performance. The weight platforms were also replaced during the 2014 renovation and new flooring was installed.
Most recently, in the summer of 2024, KWU undertook a complete renovation of the facility. New flooring was installed in the facility to improve the look of the facility and provide student-athletes with a safer surface to train on. All new equipment was purchased, including new cardio equipment, a significant increase in the number of weight lifting stations. There's also new signage and branding in the facility and the addition of an office for the newly hired Strength and Conditioning coach.
