ASHLAND, Neb. – Kansas Wesleyan Men's Cross Country had another outstanding race as the Coyotes posted a sixth place finish in the 23-team field at the Doane Blazing Tiger Invitational at Mahoney State Park on Saturday.
The Coyotes beat a few NAIA nationally ranked teams in the field including No. 8 ranked Oklahoma City and No. 15 ranked Southern Oregon.
Freshman phenom
Damion Jackson paced the Coyotes over the 8K course with a 14th place finish with a time of 24:54.1.

Saint Mary's Emad Bashir-Mohammed was the individual champion with a time of 24:07, for a 16-second victory leading the 291-person field.
College of Idaho was the team champion with a score of 56 points.
This was the final regular season tune-up for the Coyotes who will head to Winfield in two weeks for the KCAC Championships, hosted by Southwestern College.
