Box Score KANSAS CITY – Kansas Wesleyan Men's Soccer picked up a 2-1 win over the Avila Eagles on Saturday at the Zarda Multisport Complex at Avila University.
The win boosted the Coyote record to 8-3-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the KCAC heading into next week's matches at Sterling and at home against Oklahoma Wesleyan.
The Coyotes got on the board early in the match in the fourth minute as
Kamille Kum scored off a double assister from Ali Nundu and
Eduardo Flores.
Wesleyan's lead held through the half.
Avila got the equalizer in the 73rd minute on a penalty by Malcolm Goswell.
Nundu netted the winner for the Coyotes in the 82nd minute assisted by
Noel Zimbeva.
The Coyotes outshot Avila 20-11 in the match led by Nundu's five shots.
Santiago Pagnutti got the win in goal, with four saves, only allowing the penalty goal.
