Women’s Soccer gets 1-0 win over Avila

Box Score KANSAS CITY – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Soccer got a 1-0 win over the Avila Eagles on Saturday at the Zarda Multisport Complex.
 
The victory bumped the Coyotes over .500 on the season at 6-5-1 overall and 4-3 in the KCAC.
 
Leoni Enzlmuller scored the game winner for the Coyotes in the 56th minute, scoring at point blank range off an assist from Grace Conner.
 
KWU outshot Avila 12-7 led by three by Conner.
 
Allison Blumenthal got the win in goal for the Coyotes with the clean sheet, tallying three saves.
 
Wesleyan is back in action on Wednesday at Sterling, then hosts Oklahoma Wesleyan next Saturday.
