- The Coyotes have won the last six and nine of the last 10 against York. They won 81-75 last January at York and 70-34 last February in Mabee Arena. KWU has a 16-3 record against York since 2005.

- The Coyotes split two conference games last week defeating Southwestern 81-68 in Winfield on Wednesday and losing to Tabor 77-61 Saturday in Mabee Arena. They led Southwestern by 30 in the third quarter before the Moundbuilders rallied. Daijane Adams scored 19 points and had nine rebounds and Jill Stephens 16 points and eight rebounds. LaMyah Ricks scored 14 and Brooke Strine had 12 points and eight rebounds against Tabor, which shot 53.7 percent for the game (29-54).
- Strine had 18 points and 15 rebounds last week in the first two starts of her college career. Adams had 29 points and 14 rebounds, and Stephens 23 points and 14 rebounds in the two contests.
- KWU is averaging 68.6 points while shooting 37.8 percent overall which includes 28.4 percent from 3-point distance. Opposing teams are shooting 42.7 percent and 35 percent from beyond the arc.

- The Panthers have lost their last three games and seven of their last eight, the latest a 92-59 setback against Friends on Saturday in Wichita. They lost to Bethel 89-67 last Wednesday in North Newton.

- The Eagles are an upswing having won their last three games heading into their contest against Friends on Wednesday. They defeated Bethel 80-63 Saturday in North Newton and downed Oklahoma Wesleyan 54-42 last Wednesday in Kansas City.
- Avila features balanced scoring led by Hannah Pinkston at 10.2 points then Hannah Smith 9.7, Madilyn Melton 9.6 and Marlie Wright 9.3. Melton also averages 6.1 rebounds and has 12 blocks.
- Avila shoots 41 percent as a team, 31 percent from deep and averages 61.5 points. Opponents average 67 points. The Eagles are 2-6 on the road this season.
