FREMONT, Neb. – Kansas Wesleyan women's tennis was defeated by the Midland Warriors 7-0 on Saturday.
Midland would secure the doubles point by taking two of the three matches. KWU got a win at No. 3 doubles as
Kristi Henderson and
Danielle Slack beat Graziela Dallagnol and Jeena Carle 7-6 (7-1 tiebreak). In the other doubles matches Arianna Lumanog and Elaina Fanton beat
McKinnley Evans and
Alivia Sherer 6-4, and Kissmel Cedano and Grace Felder beat
Michaela Crowe and
Camrynn Bagwell 6-1.
Midland won all six singles matches. Lumanog beat Crowe 6-2, 7-5; Fanton beat Henderson 6-2. 6-2; Dallagniol beat Sherer 6-2, 6-4; Felder beat Evans 6-0, 6-2; Carle beat Slack 6-4, 6-4; and Krystal Olson beat Bagwell 6-3, 6-0.
Wesleyan is action on Thursday against Newman University in Wichita, in a match that was added to the schedule earlier this week. Start time is set for 2 p.m.
