Kansas Wesleyan Women's Tennis closed out its season on Saturday facing the Ottawa University Braves at Salina Central High School. The Coyotes would be tripped up by the Braves in a 6-1 loss.
The Coyotes got their lone point of the match at No. 6 singles as
Eliza Camp beat Lily Keimig 7-6, 6-4.
Ottawa got wins in the other flights contested.
In doubles, Alejandra Parra and Paula Persson beat
Kristi Henderson and
Michaela Crowe 6-1; Valeria Rodriguez and Priyanshi Sharma beat
Camrynn Bagwell and
Alivia Sherer 6-1; and Isidora Hrnjak and Keimig beat Daniella Slack and Camp 6-0.
In the other singles flights, Sharma beat Crowe 6-1, 6-1; Hrnjak beat Henderson 6-1, 6-1; Persson beat Sherer 6-2, 6-3; Parra beat Slack 6-4, 6-1; and Rodriguez beat Bagwell 6-0, 6-0.
Wesleyan closes its season with an 8-12 record overall and a 3-8 mark in the KCAC.
