Track has pair of All-America performances at NAIA National Championships

MARION, Ind. – Kansas Wesleyan Track and Field added a couple more All-America performances to the trophy case at the 2024 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships held at Indiana Wesleyan University.
 
Carter Huyser added two more All-America honors to his impressive career total, earning the honor in the 800m, placing eighth with a time of 1:51.71 in the finals. He qualified second in the preliminaries with a time of 1:50.76.
 
He was also part of the 4x800m relay team that earned All-America honors with an eighth place finish in the finals with a time of 7:41.11. KWU qualified fourth for the finals with a time of 7:35.77 in the finals along with Ty Davidson, Julian Avila and Wyatt Johnson.
 
KWU also had other student-athletes in the National Championships.
 
Madisyn Ehrlich placed 19th in the preliminary round of the 1500m with a time of 4:55.74.
 
Keegan Lott placed 23rd in the discus with a mark of 44.12m.
 
Brenden Ellis placed 26th in the preliminaries of the Steeplechase with a time of 9:42.00.
