WINFIELD – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Soccer got a 1-0 win over Southwestern College on Saturday night at Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
 
The lone goal of the match came moments after the start of the second half in the 47th minute by 
Rylie Moreno-Rojas.
 
She took a corner from 
Minaya Winchester that went over the gathered players in front of goal to Moreno-Rojas at the right post and she one-timed it in for the goal.
 
Wesleyan was on the offensive early, racking up several early shot tries but couldn't find a goal.
 
A shot by 
Emma Gervy that was saved over the touch line set up the corner by Winchester that led to the goal.
 
Gervy had six shots to lead the Coyotes. 
Isabella Galvan had five saves in the shutout win.
 
KWU will host the last two matches of the regular season this week. KWU plays McPherson Wednesday and Avila on Saturdya.
