WICHITA, Kan. – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has released the lists of the Fall 2025 KCAC Scholar-Athletes and Kansas Wesleyan led the way with 115 student-athletes earning the distinction.
The Coyotes, who also led the KCAC in Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes and had the fourth-highest total in the NAIA again showed the University's commitment to outstanding academic achievement coupled with outstanding athletic achievement.
"This very high total of student-athletes being recognized for their academic excellence is more proof that we are committed to ensuring our students excel in all facets," Kansas Wesleyan Athletic Director
Miguel Paredes said.
KWU led the individual sport totals in the KCAC in all but one sport and were the only KCAC school to have more than 10 honorees in every fall sport. KWU led the KCAC in women's volleyball, men's soccer, women's soccer, women's cross country and men's cross country.
Evangel had the second highest total in the conference with 77 scholar-athletes. Saint Mary was third, Friends was fourth and Tabor was fifth to round out the Top 5 institutions.
Conference-wide a total of 750 student-athletes were named as KCAC Scholar-Athletes. Football programs led the way with 214, men's soccer was second with 159, women's soccer was third with 147, women's volleyball was fourth with 141, women's cross country was fifth with 54 and men's cross country was sixth with 35.
