Women’s Volleyball has four College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® honorees

(2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball TeamsThe 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program Women's Volleyball has four College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® honorees separately recognizes women's volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
Kansas Wesleyan had four student-athletes earn the honor.
 
Athletically, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches and be at least of sophomore athletic eligibility status to be eligible for nomination. Liberos, although not counted in stats as a starter, may be counted as such for nominating purposes.
 
Academically, student-athletes must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average both as an undergraduate and graduate student (if applicable, unless they are in their first semester of graduate school), and be of at least sophomore academic status. Transfer student-athletes are immediately eligible for the award as long as they meet the above requirements.
 
Rylee Serpan, a senior from Spring Hill, Kan., was also a First-Team All-KCAC selection and was named Academic All-KCAC and a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She ranked eighth in the KCAC in total kills in KCAC play with 148, and averaged 3.52 kills per set which ranked fifth in the KCAC. She ranked eighth in the KCAC at 3.7 points per set. Serpan also became the all-time kills leader in KWU history, finishing with 1535 kills.
 
Ella Schmid, a senior from McPherson, Kan., was also named Academic All-KCAC and a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She averaged 2.37 digs per set on the season and passed at .947, tied for the team lead in passing percentage.
 
Kate Bebout, a senior from Tulsa, Okla., was also named Academic All-KCAC and a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She averaged 0.73 blocks per set and 1.43 kills per set from the middle blocker position.
 
Tristyn Hedman, a sophomore from Grand Island, Neb., was also named Academic All-KCAC and a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She averaged 3.78 digs per set and passed at .947, tied for the team lead in passing percentage.
 
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Serpan advanced to the Academic All-America® ballot. The Academic All-America® Teams will be released on January 13, 2026.
