Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis fell on Monday to the Sterling Warriors 6-1 at Salina Tennis Alliance Center.
Wesleyan's lone win in the match came in singles at the No. 1 position as
Raul Davalos-Gavino beat Pedro Felipoff 6-0, 6-4.
In the doubles matches, Sterling would win all three flights. Kyosuke Ishida and Kazuki Fukushima beat
Raul Davalos-Gavino 7-6; Adam King and Louis Boisenghien beat
Paul Jittawait and
Zachary Daley 6-0; and David Garces and Patricio Cifuentes beat
Jacob Marshall and
Felix Rodriguez 6-3.
In the other singles matches, Boisdenghien beat
Jack Hanson 6-1, 6-1; Johan Molle beat Jittawait 6-4, 6-1; Angel Marin beat Chavez 6-4, 6-3; Nicholas Sprenger beat
Collin Phelps 6-2, 6-4; and Cifuentes beat
Benjamin Cechak 6-1, 6-4.
The Coyotes return to action on Saturday for the regular season finale at Ottawa. The Coyotes will then play in the KCAC Tournament starting April 23 in Lindsborg.
