HASTINGS, Neb. – The Kansas Wesleyan Men's Soccer team played to a scoreless draw with the Hastings College Broncos on Saturday evening at Lloyd Wilson Field.
The Coyotes got an outstanding defensive effort to keep the Broncos off the board as Hastings put up 14 shots, five on frame, most coming in the first half.
Hastings had several opportunities in the first 45, but could not get one past Wesleyan keeper

The second half was more evenly played with shots as both teams had four tries in the half.
All of Wesleyan's shots came late in the half in a flurry of activity in the last 10 minutes for the Coyotes.
Hastings outshot the Coyotes 14-5 in the match. Wirt had a clean sheet for the Coyotes with five saves in the draw.
Wesleyan is back in action on Tuesday as the Coyotes host Doane University at 6:30 p.m. at JRI Hospitality Stadium at the Graves Family Sports Complex.
