BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Tennis dropped a 7-0 decision to the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles on Saturday.
KWU did win one of the three doubles matches, but OKWU won the other two to win the doubles point.
Hailey Adami and
Alivia Sherer beat Oceane Fredjian and Madeline Henderson 6-2.
In the other two matches Rocio Lissette Espinal and Jewel Henderson beat
Hayden Bellamy and
Rylee Frye 6-1. Nancy Henderson and Ashley Miller beat
Isabella Myers and
Lauren Higgins 6-0.
In singles, OKWU won all six matches.
Espinal beat Bellamy 7-6, 6-2; Jewel Henderson beat Frye 6-0, 6-3; Nancy Henderson beat Sherer 6-2, 6-2; Madeline Henderson beat Adami 6-1, 6-2; Fredjian beat
Adalyn Pfizenmaier 6-0, 6-0; and Miller beat
Ania Bonner 6-0, 6-1.
The Coyotes take on Bethel on Tuesday at Salina Tennis Alliance at 6 p.m.
