Kansas Wesleyan Men's Volleyball wrapped up the 2026 season on Tuesday as the Coyotes hosted No. 2 ranked Park University Pirates in Mabee Arena. Despite giving Park a run in nearly every set, the Coyotes would fall in three 25-23, 25-19, 25-15.
KWU opened the match scoring the first two points on a
Dallas Manaku service ace and a kill by
Kaleb Cui. KWU led 4-3 when Park scored five of the next six points to take an 8-5 lead.
The Coyotes hung tough, tying the set at 13 on a Cui service ace, but Park scored the next four points to take a 17-13 lead. KWU trailed 21-15 when the Coyotes put together a 6-0 run to tie the set at 21 before Park would take the set.
Park led 5-2 to start the second set, but the resilient Coyotes came back and got within a point at 9-8 on a kill by
Joshua Condon. Park pushed out to a 15-10 lead but the Coyotes got three back to trail 15-13. The Pirates were able to pull away and win the set.
Park scored the first four points of the final set and used another 4-0 run to take an 18-10 lead in the set as the Pirates closed it out with a third set win.
Williams had 11 kills for the Coyotes, while Cui added six. Manaku had 12 assists.
Josh Kiely had four digs to lead the Coyotes.
KWU finishes its second season in the Heart of America Conference 6-18 overall and 2-18 in HAAC play.
