Women’s Soccer picked third in KCAC Preseason Coaches Poll

Kansas Wesleyan Women's Soccer was picked to finish third in the Kansas Conference this season as the conference coaches voted on their Preseason Poll for the season.
 
The Coyotes received 131 points in the poll, just edging out Tabor in fourth place with 124 points.
 
Defending conference champion Oklahoma Wesleyan was the preseason favorite amongst the coaches earning 169 points and the maximum 13 first-place votes as coaches cannot vote for their own team.
 
Friends was picked second with 157 points and the remaining first-place vote.
 
KWU was third, Tabor fourth and Evangel was picked fifth to round out the top five selections by the coaches.
 
Saint Mary was sixth with 94 points, Avila was seventh with 93, McPherson was eighth with 89, Ottawa ninth with 88, Southwestern 10th with 83, York was 11th with 56, Bethel was 12th with 35, Sterling was 13th with 22 and Bethany was 14th with 20.
 
The Coyotes will open the 2026 season on August 22 on the road at Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. The home opener for the Coyotes is on September 2 against Hastings College.
