Kadem Tharp has been an assistant baseball coach since the 2006 season.
In 2006, he was a graduate assistant for the Coyotes, in charge of hitting and infield. In 2007, Tharp moved to the position of head assistant, where he was in charge of defense, hitting and recruiting.
Tharp has also been a coach for the American Legion Salina Hawks and Salina Eagles as a pitching coach since the 2006 season. He also assisted with the Walter Johnson Wichita Team Elite Kings, an NBC Affiliate, in 2009.
Tharp graduated in 2001 from Salina Central High School, and continued onto Ottawa University, where he was a two-year letterwinner for the Braves, and was named First Team All-KCAC in 2004.
He graduated from Ottawa in 2006 with a Bachlelor of Arts degree in English, and then completed his MBA in 2007 from Kansas Wesleyan.
He is married to Karry Tharp, and has one daughter Brette.
