Shaw will begin his 1st year as an assistant coach at Kansas Wesleyan University this August. He will work with pitchers.
He transferred to Kansas Wesleyan University for the 2025 season, where he contributed to a historic year that included a KCAC Conference Tournament Championship and an NAIA Opening Round title. In 2026, he was unanimously selected as a First Team All-KCAC pitcher and helped Kansas Wesleyan become the first team in program history to host an NAIA Opening Round. He also earned the KCAC Commissioner's Award and was recognized as a two-time Scholar-Athlete for his success both on the field and in the classroom.Â
Before attending KWU, Shaw earned First Team All-Conference honors as a pitcher while helping lead Butte College to one of the most successful seasons in program history. The team became the first in the head coach's 20-year tenure to host a Super Regional. Shaw also played a key role in helping the Roadrunners capture the Golden Valley Conference (GVC) Championship in 2023.
A native of Fallon, Nevada, Shaw graduated from KWU this past spring and will begin his master's degree in Business with an emphasis in Sports Management.
