  • Title
    Head Coach

Antonio Snyder has joined the Kansas Wesleyan Cheer and Dance coaching staff in August 2021. As head cheerleading coach for Kansas Wesleyan University, Antonio Snyder is responsible for everything Coyote cheerleading and mascot including practices, planning, fundraising, choreographing, and recruiting. He sets high expectations for his program with the overall goal of building a nationally ranked program and an eccentric gameday atmosphere.

Coach Snyder is no stranger to the NAIA as he is a recent graduate from fellow KCAC institution, McPherson College where he assisted in growing their program and also bringing them from non-competitive status – to 4th in the conference! While at McPherson, Coach Snyder managed to break many program records every year while also earning many honors including Scholar Athlete and All-Conference: Honorable Mention.

Snyder graduated from McPherson with two bachelor’s degrees including sociology and psychology and was extremely involved on campus. He was also nominated as a ‘Veteran Athlete of the Year’ during his senior season!

Outside of Coyote athletics, Snyder is also employed by Varsity Spirit as a Universal Cheerleaders Association instructor. As a UCA staffer, he spends his summers traveling the country teaching cheerleading camps – and part of the academic year attending Varsity special events, working cheerleading competitions, and assisting with anything related to spirit programs!
