Todd Zenner has been the men's and women's bowling coach at Kansas Wesleyan since July 2015.

Zenner’s most recent coaching experience comes at Tabor College where he coached the Bluejays three seasons. He also brings a wealth of experience in coaching, starting the program at Newton High School in Newton, Kansas, and qualified several for state during his tenure. He also spent several years with Ebonite International, a leader in bowling equipment sales.

Zenner bowled collegiately at Wichita State for three years helping the Shockers to a National Championship in 1993. Five years later he joined the PBA, bowling on the regional and national tours for the next five years.

“Personally, it’s very exciting to be at a place where everyone wants to learn about bowling so they know what’s going on and what they can do to help,” Zenner said. “It makes it easier to recruit when everyone is willing to help and learn.”

Zenner also feels that attracting student-athletes to KWU will be an easy sell.

“Kansas Wesleyan just feels like home,” he said. “That combined with some outstanding facilities, it will be an easy sell to draw student-athletes to KWU.”

Zenner explained that successful bowlers possess a myriad of qualities that makes them a great fit for KWU and the high-quality educational experience here.

“I feel like when you have strong academic students that you bring in as bowlers, they have the chance to be great. It’s like the two sides mirror one another – a quality bowler and student. Those types of student-athletes create good team bowlers and makes it easy to put together a team,” he said.
