Hannah Hendrickson has been the Golf Program Director since January 2020, and the women's golf coach since August 2019.
Hendrickson took over the Golf Program Director role from Randy Syring, who stepped down to return to the Salina Country Club as Club Professional.
Hendrickson is no stranger to Kansas Wesleyan and the golf program. She served as an assistant under Syring until being named Head Coach for the women in August 2019.
Hendrickson played collegiately for four years at Wichita State University where she was an outstanding player for the Shockers, leading the team in stroke average at 78.66 her senior season.
Before Wichita State, the Salina native, was a four-time First Team Division I Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League selection at both Salina Central as a freshman and three times at Salina South. She twice won the AVCTL-I individual medalist title and tied for first in 2007. She helped South High to back-to-back AVCTL and KSHSAA Regional Championships in 2007 and 2008. She finished in the Top 10 in all but one of her high school meets in her entire high school career.
She also competed in the Kansas Women's Golf Association, the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour, the Texas Junior Golf Tour and the American Junior Golf Association and the KJGA Tour when she was younger. She partnered with 2008 British Open champion Bruce Vaughn to finish tied for seventh at the Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach in August 2008. She was honored as a 2009 National First Tee Scholar as well as a three-time Optimist International qualifier, and a member of the 2009 KWGA Four State Team. She also received the Salina South-U.S. Marine Corps "Most Distinguished Athlete" Award in May, 2009 and was voted as the 2009 CatchitKansas.com "Girls Golfer of the Year".
Hendrickson is married to Kansas Wesleyan Football coach Myers Hendrickson.
