Cameron Hunter returned to his alma mater and joined the Kansas Wesleyan coaching staff in August 2021. He coached with with women's program in 2022, then moved to the men's program in spring of 2023.
With the Coyotes, Hunter is in charge of practice plans and management, performance monitoring and optimization, as well as assisting with recruiting new student-athletes to the program.
Hunter’s coaching experience also includes time as the Salina Central High School boys soccer head coach and girls soccer assistant coach, and as a youth coach with Puma FC.
A defender, Hunter began his playing career at Chaffey College (2013-15) before transferring to KWU, where he played from 2016-17. He was voted second team all-conference at both schools and captained both teams.
Originally from Pomona, California, Hunter graduated from KWU in December 2021 with a degree in exercise science and a minor in coaching.
