Julianna Yanez joined the Kansas Wesleyan men’s volleyball coaching staff in August ‘22.

A 2020 graduate of McPherson College, she helped the Bulldogs win its first KCAC conference championships and an opening round match in the 2018 NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Tournament as the program finished with a 34-4 overall mark, 12-0 in the KCAC. A defensive specialist, she appeared in 25 matches over three seasons.

A native of Wichita, Yanez coached at West High School following graduation from McPherson. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing and management and a minor in Spanish. She is currently working on her master’s in sports management at KWU.
