Carolyn Jenkins has been an assistant coach with the Kansas Wesleyan women’s basketball program since 2014. She assists with varsity, works exclusively with the post players and is the head coach of the JV team.

 

During Jenkins' five seasons, the Coyotes have compiled a 93-64 record and been a part of three 20-win seasons. She has helped coached 14 all-KCAC players, 15 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, 19 Academic All-KCAC selections, and she has been a part of two NAIA Scholar-Teams and WBCA Academic Top 25 teams.

Jenkins joined the Coyotes in August 2014 after playing professionally overseas in Bulgaria and France and having a tryout with the former San Antonio stars of the WNBA.

 

Jenkins graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science and a minor in Sociology in 2013 from The University of Kansas. She was a four year player for KU, leading the Jayhawks to back-to-back NCAA Sweet 16® appearances and was recognized as one of the top five centers in the country, as well as an all-American. Jenkins earned her Master of Business Administration from KWU in 2016.

 

Jenkins resides in Salina with her husband Jeffrey and their son Aiden.
