Tabetha is an alum of Kansas Wesleyan, graduating in 2022 and will be helping coach distance and middle distance athletes. She received her degree in Elementary Education. Along with coaching, she is also a 5th grade teacher at Sunset Elementary School in Salina.  

While competing for KWU, Deines racked up the accolades and was one of the most storied athletes in Kansas Wesleyan history. She was a 4-time NAIA All-American in the 800 and 1000 meters and was able to qualify for the National meet a total of 7 times across both track and cross country.  

In addition to her success at the National level, Deines was a 6-time KCAC Conference Champion and had 19 All-Conference performances. She also holds 10 school records for KWU ranging from the 600 yard to the 1500 meters.Â
