Jefferson Cook has been Golf Coach at Kansas Wesleyan since April 2025.
2025-26 was another outstanding year for the women's golf team under Cook's direction. The team won five tournaments during the season, including the KCAC Match Play tournament duing the fall portion of the season and the KCAC Women's Golf Championship in the spring. It was the fifth win in seven years for the Coyotes in Match Play and the third straight KCAC Championship for the team. Chaney Littell was named First Team All-KCAC and Ryann Warren was named Second Team All-KCAC. KWU had five Academic All-KCAC honorees and four Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Cook has extensive experience in the Kansas Conference, having played for Southwestern College and served as head coach at York University prior to coming to Kansas Wesleyan.Â
Cook played or coached in the KCAC for seven years – five as a golfer at Southwestern, one as a graduate assistant at the school and one as head coach at York.
A 2023 graduate from Southwestern Cook had several top 10 finishes as a player and was the team's MVP for the 2022-23 season. He also was a KCAC Scholar Athlete and KCAC Champion of Character.
