Erik Garcia has been the Associate Head Coach for Kansas Wesleyan Soccer since the Spring of 2011. He joins Mike Dibbini's staff after spending one season as an assistant at Cal Poly-Pomona.

Prior to coaching at Cal Poly-Pomona, Garcia spent two seasons coaching at Notre Dame de Namur University. In his two seasons, the Argos reached new heights, highlighted by their NCAA Tourney berth in 2008.

Garcia, a Los Angeles native who grew up in Honduras, played two seasons for Holy Names in 2004 and 2005. The team earned an NAIA postseason berth in 2004 – a first in school history. He also played at Los Angeles City College.

He spent one season as an assistant at Holy Names University in 2006

Garcia earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Holy Names in 2006 and is a 1999 graduate of Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles. He is the father of four-year old Derik Ki.
