Joe Schwartz has been the women's soccer coach at Kansas Wesleyan since March 2023.

2024 saw the Coyotes finish second in the KCAC with an 11-2 record in the conference. KWU opened the season 0-4-1 facing a gauntlet of competition that included four opponents nationally ranked or receiving votes. KWU was the first team to score a goal on Central Methodist on the season. KWU rolled through the KCAC, outscoring conference opponents 36-8 on the season. KWU would play in the KCAC quarterfinals, but suffered a 1-0 setback in the match to York. KWU had seven All-KCAC picks led by first-team selections Valeria Hernandez, Maleia Jackson and Isabella Galvan. KWU also excelled academically with 14 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes and 18 were named Academic All-KCAC.

2023 was Schwartz's first season at Kansas Wesleyan. He led the Coyotes to a 10-8-2 overall record and a 7-5-1 record in the KCAC. KWU earned the No. 6 seed in the KCAC Tournament and went on the road and picked up a 1-0 win over Saint Mary avenging a regular season loss to the Spires. The victory sent the Coyotes to an unprecendented 19th-consecutive KCAC Semifinals appearance. The longest such streak in conference history. Leoni Enzlmuller was named to the All-KCAC first team, headlining six KWU selections to the All-KCAC teams. KWU had 14 Academic All-KCAC selections, and 11 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
