Laura Kellner is entering her first season as an assistant coach at Kansas Wesleyan University in 2026 after a successful career at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana.Â
Prior to competing in the United States, she developed through one of Germany's top soccer systems, playing for 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in both the U17 Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga before competing in the Bayernliga with TSV Schwaben Augsburg. Her diverse playing experience at elite levels has provided valuable tactical knowledge and a deep understanding of the game.
In addition to her playing career, she is a certified DFB Junior Coach, reflecting her commitment to player development and coaching education. She combines her technical knowledge, tactical awareness, and passion for teaching to help players improve both individually and within the team environment.
Academically, she was recognized as a 2025 Academic All-Conference selection in the Cascade Conference, demonstrating her commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
In addition to her duties as the assistant, Laura will be the co-head coach of the development team alongside Mallorie Lund.
