Leslie Jerez joins the Kansas Wesleyan Women's Volleyball coaching staff starting in August 2026.
Jerez, a native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic played two years at Seward County for current KWU coach Aubrey Wilson, where she averaged 4.02 digs per set as libero for the Saints and passed at .953 on over 900 receptions. She also had 43 service aces. After Seward, she transferred to Alabama A&M where she played two seasons averaging 2.89 digs per set and passing at .932 in 196 career sets for the Bulldogs.
She played high school volleyball at Colegio Evangelico Central and Santa Teresita School in Santo Domingo. She obtained her associates degree from Seward County in liberal studies and her bachelors degree from Alabama A&M in sports management. She is pursuing her master of business administration degree from KWU.
