Kansas Wesleyan University

Nicole Mathews begins her second season as the Volunteer Assistant coach for the Kansas Wesleyan University volleyball team.

Mathews attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke from 2013-2016. Throughout her career at UNCP, Mathews earned All- Peach Belt Conference, NCCSIA All-State, NCAA D2ADA Academic Achievement Award, three-time PBC All-Academic Team, as well as the Chancellor’s Academic Award.

Before attending UNCP Mathews played her freshman season at Victor Valley Community college and her sophomore season at Western Texas College.

Nicole is from Barstow, California where she played for Barstow High School for four years.
