Blake Maddock joined the Kansas Wesleyan baseball staff in July of 2024. 

He was the head coach of the Development team while he was pursuing his master's. Blake led the Development team to a KCAC tournament championship this past spring. 

Blake spent three seasons at McPherson College, appearing mainly as a starter, posting a career record of 16-8 with a 4.20 ERA striking out 244 in 235.2 innings pitched. In 2023, he helped lead the Bulldogs to win their first KCAC baseball tournament championship in school history. 

Prior to attending McPherson, Blake attended Merced College. During his time there, he accumulated a 9-3 record, his first year being mainly as a reliever having 47.2 innings pitched posting a 3.80 ERA. In his second year, he became a starter and had put together a 2.78 ERA in 32.1 inning pitched before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Blake graduated from Merced College in 2019 with an associate degree in Social and Behavioral Science and then from McPherson in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in health science. He completed his master's degree in Business with emphasis of Sports Management here at Kansas Wesleyan this past spring. Blake resides in Salina with his wife Victoria.
