Tycen Gray joined the Kansas Wesleyan football coaching staff in January 2025. He will be working with the wide receivers.

A 2024 graduate of Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, he was the starting tight end for the Statesmen during his two years at Delta State. He helped the Statesmen to a Gulf South Conference championship in the 2023 season, amassing five touchdown receptions along the way to a Division II Regional Semifinal appearance.

Prior to his time at Delta State, Gray spent four years at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, as a tight end for the Griffons from 2019 to 2022. He was a starter during the 2021 season and tallied 30 catches and 363 yards in his first two seasons of eligibility in 2021 and 2022.

A native of Farmington, Missouri, Gray was a member of both the MIAA and GSC Academic Honor Rolls all six years of his collegiate football career. Gray holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies education from Delta State and is currently working on his master’s in business administration with an emphasis in sports management at KWU.
