BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis opened its KCAC season on Saturday defeating the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles 6-1.
The Coyotes won the doubles point, winning both contested matches.
Alex Sherer and
Bryce Ware beat Clement Martin-Dardaine and Eloi Riva 6-4 and
Raul Davalos-Gavino and
Adam Hanson beat Preston Callahan and Uros Akekskjevic 6-2.
In singles KWU won four of the five contested flights.
Jack Hanson got a default win as OKWU did not have a full allotment of players. Ware beat Martin-Dardaine 6-3, 6-3; Davalos-Gavino beat Callahan 6-1, 6-0;
Luke Craft beat Alekskjevic 6-1, 6-1; and
William McMurry beat Filip Cavic 6-2, 6-0.
OKWU got one win as Riva beat Sherer 6-4, 7-6.
