McPHERSON – Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis dropped a 6-1 decision to McPherson College on Wednesday afternoon.
Wesleyan got its lone point at No. 1 singles as
Bryce Ware beat Michael Beltran 6-2, 6-2.
McPherson got wins in all the other matches.
In doubles, McPherson got wins in all three matches. Martin Millos and Beltran beat Ware and
Alex Sherer 7-6; Daniel Marcano and Oscar Brouwer beat
Adam Hanson and
Luke Craft 6-0; and Arthur Nardy and Celien Botlan beat
Raul Davalos-Gavino and
Jacob Phelps 7-5.
In the other singles matches, Marcus Nardy beat Shere 6-0, 6-1; Arthur Nardy beat Davalos-Gavino 6-3, 6-2; Brouwer beat Hanson 6-2, 6-2; Millos beat Craft 6-3, 6-1; and Botlan beat Phelps 6-4, 6-2.
The Coyotes are scheduled to host Friends on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Salina Tennis Alliance.
