Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis picked up a 7-0 win to stop a two-match losing streak on Saturday over the Friends University Falcons at Salina Tennis Alliance.
KWU captured the doubles point by winning two of the three doubles flights.
Bryce Ware and
Alex Sherer beat Auron Hoyer and Connor Fitzsimmons 6-0; and
Raul Davalos-Gavino and
Jacob Phelps beat Nathan Harris and Jacob Bush 6-1. Friends got one win as Aidan Marshall and Enric Galan beat
Adam Hanson and
Luke Craft 6-4.
It was all Coyotes in the singles matches.
Ware beat Galan 6-3, 7-5; Sherer beat Hoyer 6-0, 6-1; Davalos-Gavino beat Marshall 7-6, 6-0; Hanson beat Fitzsimmons 6-0, 6-3; Craft beat Harris 6-1, 6-1; and
Paulo Cattani Martini beat Bush 7-6, 6-4.
The Coyotes embark on a four-match road trip starting on Monday at Bethel.
