HASTINGS, Neb. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Tennis picked up a 5-2 win over the Hastings Broncos on Wednesday.
The Coyotes got the doubles point winning two flights as
Eliza Camp and
Danielle Slack beat Sasha Richards and Paige Wilcoxson 6-4, and
Alivia Sherer and
Abigail Meredith beat Amanda Skinner and Abby Harveson 6-3. Hastings got a win as Josline Carter and Victoria Harris beat
Kristi Henderson and
McKinnley Evans 6-2.
KWU won four of six singles flights. Michael Crowe beat Richards 6-1, 6-1; Sherer beat Wilcoxson 7-6, 6-3; Slack beat Skinner 6-0, 6-0; Camp beat Harveson 6-2, 6-0.
Hastings got singles wins as Carter beat Evans 6-2. 6-4; and Harris beat Henderson 6-2. 6-3.
The Coyotes take on Tabor on Thursday.
