NORTH NEWTON – Kansas Wesleyan and Bethel College women's tennis made up their twice-previously-postponed match on Friday with the Threshers winning 7-0 in the match.
Bethel made it a clean sweep winning all three doubles matches and all six singles matches.
Daniela Casique and Halle Krehbiel beat
Kristi Henderson and
Michaela Crowe 6-2; Patty Huerta and Nalea Payton beat Alvia Sherer and
Camrynn Bagwell 6-0; and Chaira Yager and Grace Dawes beat Elza Camp and
Danielle Slack 7-5.
In singles, Casique beat Crowe 6-3, 6-2; Dawes beat Henderson 3-6, 6-2, 6-1; Krehbiel beat Sherer 6-2. 6-0; Mahoney beat Slack 6-2, 6-3; Payton beat Bagwell 6-2, 6-2; and Huerta beat Camp 7-5, 6-3.
The Coyotes will conclude their season on Saturday hosting Ottawa at Salina Central High School.
