The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes and Kansas Wesleyan had eight student-athletes named to the honor.

Earning the distinction from KWU were Ashley Bissell,
Elizabeth Willison,
Jewell Henry,
Josie Buhr,
Madalynn Brummit,
Michaela Crowe,
Ollievia Lowe and
Sydnee Fordham.

The 2024 list features 1,250 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. Central Methodist (Mo.), Embry-Riddle (Ariz.), Madonna (Mich.), and Pikeville (Ky.) all led the way with 16 honorees. Grand View (Iowa), Briar Cliff (Iowa), and Cornerstone (Mich.) finished a close second with 15.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, have attained sophomore academic status prior to the current semester and have attended one full year at said institution.

Nominations for spring sports are due April 15 and are based on GPA at the end of the fall semester.
