MARYVILLE, Mo. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Indoor Track opened its 2025-26 season on Saturday at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic hosted by Northwest Missouri State.
The 4x400m relay team of

Delaney Bond,

Hailey Nordhus set a new school record with a time of 4:08.48, finishing eighth. KWU ran a second team in the race, as
Ava Kenyon,
Joni Schroeder,
Emma McAlister and
Taytum Reed finished 13th in 4:26.34.
Emoria McNabb tied the school record in 200m with a time of 26.73 seconds, finishing 22nd.
Markyla Shaw was 44th with a time of 27.71.
Delaney Bond was second in the 800m run with a time of 2:21.78.
Madisyn Ehrlich was second in the 3000m with a time of 10:46.65 and
Shelby Lingle was third in 10:58.98.
Kierra Jensen was second in the 5000m with a time of 18:07.35,
Micah Dickens was fifth in 18:57.18,
Makayla Little was seventh in 19:09.63,
Charlee Lind was 10th in 19:25.17 and
Mya Schweitzer was 20th in 20:50.70.
Kirstin Hackney was second in the 1000m run with a time of 3:00.70,
Hailey Nordhus was fifth in 3:03.66,
Shelby Lingle was sixth in 3:09.27, and
Madisyn Ehrlich was seventh in 3:12.58.
Ava Kenyon was seventh in the 600-yard run with a time of 1:32.40,
Lauryn Mikkelson was eighth with a time of 1:33.24, and
Taytum Reed was 10th with a time of 1:42.04.
Joni Schroeder was eighth in the mile with a time of 5:29.64 and
Emma McAlister was 24th in 5:58.39.
Elizabeth Stout was 11th in the shot put with a mark of 11.21m,
Jadyn Mabry was 20th with a mark of 10.42m,
Aunisty McNeal was 25th with a mark of 10.02m and Roselyn Torres was 36th with a mark of 7.06m.
In the high jump
Corinne Hall was 13th with a mark of 1.51m and
Trinity Windle was 15th with a mark of 1.46m.
Elizabeth Stout was 17th in the weight throw with a mark of 13.34m,
Aunisty McNeal was 34th with a mark of 11.00m, and Roselyn Torres was 44th with a mark of 9.20m.
Markyla Shaw was 25th in the long jump with a mark of 4.94m.
Emorie McNabb finished 27th in the 60m dash with a time of 8.07 seconds.
The Coyotes are back in action next weekend at the Concordia Bulldog Early Bird in Seward, Nebraska.
