CRETE, Neb. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Indoor Track and Field had its final preconference meet of the season as the Coyotes competed at the Fred Beile Classic hosted by Doane University.
Kierra Jensen was second in the 3000m with a time of 11:11.84.
In the 1000m,
Hailey Nordhus was third with a time of 3:07.37,
Shelby Lingle was fourth in 3:11.58,
Emma McAlister was fifth in 3:16.98, and
Madisyn Ehrlich was sixth in 3:18.04.
In the 600m,
Ava Kenyon was fourth with a time of 1:42.09 and
Kirstin Hackney was fifth with a time of 1:42.88.
Markyla Shaw was fifth with a mark of 5.25m.
In the 200m,
Emorie McNabb finished fifth with a time of 27.07 seconds.
Trinity Windle was seventh and
Corinne Hall was eighth in the high jump clearing 1.51m. Windle had fewer misses at 1.51m to earn the higher finish.
In the 60m,
Emorie McNabb qualified for the finals with a time of 8.26 seconds in the preliminary round and then finished eighth in the finals with a time of 8.23 seconds.
Elizabeth Stout was 12th in the shot put with a mark of 11.65m,
Aunisty McNeal was 18th with a mark of 10.90m and
Jadyn Mabry was 27th with a mark of 9.99m.
Elizabeth Stout was 16th in the weight throw with a mark of 12.90m, Roselyn Torres was 26th with a mark of 11.42m,
Aunisty McNeal was 28th with a mark of 11.08m, and
Jadyn Mabry was 32nd with a mark of 10.13m.
Charlee Lind was 19th in the mile with a time of 6:00.36 and
Mya Schweitzer was 20th with a time of 6:02.26.
Up next for the Coyotes will be the KCAC Indoor Track Championships at the Heskett Center in Wichita on Friday and Saturday.
