Kansas Wesleyan Women's Tennis got a 5-2 win over Midland University on Friday at Salina Tennis Alliance Center.
It was technically a forfeit win for the Coyotes, as Midland only had two competing players, and a minimum of four is needed for a contestable match.
In the one doubles flight that was played Midland got a 6-3 win as Kissmel Cedano Lapaix and Graziela Dallagnol beat
Hayden Bellamy and
Danielle Slack 6-3.
Midland also got wins in the two contested singles flights as Cedano Lapaix beat Bellamy 9-7 and Dallagnol beat Slack 9-7.

Lauren Higgins got default wins in singles.
Alivia Sherer and
Eliza Camp, and Higgins and Gutierrez-Myers got default wins at doubles.
Next action for the Coyotes will be in the Steve Foster Memorial Invitational in Dallas on March 7 and 8.
