WINFIELD – Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis got a 7-0 victory over the Southwestern College Moundbuilders on Monday at TH Vaughn Tennis Center.
The Coyotes won both of the contested doubles matches.
Raul Davalos-Gavino and
Paul Jittawait beat Drake Lowe and Jeremiah Jones 6-3 and
Benjamin Cechak and
Austin Harden beat Kobe Schlegel and Connor Stampley 6-1.
Zachary Daley and
Jacob Marshall picked up a default win.
In singles, KWU won all four contested matches. Davalos-Gavino beat Lowe 6-1, 6-0; Jittawait beat Jones 6-1, 6-1; Daley beat Stampley 6-1, 6-1; and Marshall beat Schlegel 6-0, 6-2. Cechak and Harden got default wins.
Wesleyan returns to action on Wednesday at Tabor in Hillsboro.
