TOPEKA, Kan. – The Kansas Wesleyan Women's Indoor Track and Field team participated on Friday at the Washburn Rust Buster hosted by Washburn University.
In the high jump,
Corinne Hall and
Trinity Windle tied for fourth place with a mark of 1.50m. Both jumpers had an identical progression to their finish to end up tied.
In the 4x400m relay, the team on
Lauryn Mikkelson,
Hailey Nordhus,
Ava Kenyon and
Delaney Bond was eighth with a time of 4:08.62.
In the 800m, KWU had 11 runners in the field led by
Delaney Bond with a ninth place finish in 2:22.82. Hailey Nordus was 11th in 2:24.05,
Ava Kenyon was 15th in 2:28.32,
Shelby Lingle was 16th in 2:28.33,
Madisyn Ehrlich was 20th in 2:31.10,
Lauryn Mikkelson was 21st in 2:32.02,
Makayla Little was 25th in 2:35.21,
Emma McAlister was 28th in 2:37.29,
Joni Schroeder was 29th in 2:37.97,
Micah Dickens was 34th in 2:42.87 and
Taytum Reed was 38th in 2:45.92.
In the weight throw,
Elizabeth Stout was 13th with a mark of 14.42m,
Jadyn Mabry was 26th with a mark of 12.33m,
Aunisty McNeal was 34th with a mark of 11.43m, and Roselyn Torres was 39th with a mark of 10.60m.
In the shot put,
Elizabeth Stout was 13th with a mark of 11.65m, Aunesty McNeal was 19th with a mark of 10.78m,
Jadyn Mabry was 21st with a mark of 10.76m and Roselyn Torres was 56th with a mark of 7.42m.
In the long jump
Markyla Shaw was 20th with a mark of 5.00m.
In the mile,
Madisyn Ehrlich led the Coyote finishers in 21st with a time of 5:26.44,
Joni Schroeder was 32nd in 5:36.49,
Shelby Lingle was 34th in 5:38.19,
Micah Dickens was 35th in 5:40.35,
Makayla Littled was 42nd in 5:49.06 and
Emma McAlister was 47th in 5:56.46.
Emorie McNabb was 29th in the 200m with a time of 27.04 seconds and
Markyla Shaw was 42nd with a time of 27.70.
Emorie McNabb finished 39th in the 60m with a time of 8.18 seconds.
The Coyotes are back in action next weekend heading to Seward, Neb. for the Concordia Polar Dog.
