YORK, Neb. – Kansas Wesleyan Competitive Dance posted a fourth place finish out of 13 teams on Friday in the Crown Classic hosted by York University at the Freeman Center.
The Coyotes again had another outstanding performance, scoring 80.91 points, just edging out Morningside for fourth place.
Concordia University was the event winner with a score of 87.33 points. Hope International was second with 86.62, Doane was third with 84.50 points for the three teams to finish above KWU.
KWU was fourth, followed by Morningside with 80.66, Graceland with 80.08, Benedictine with 79.58, Lewis-Clark State with 78.95, Dordt with 78.87, Briar Cliff with 76.91, Northwestern with 75.79, York with 75.08, and Hastings rounded out the team standings with 74.25.
The Coyotes will return to action on February 21 at the Baker Invitational in Baldwin City.
