Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis got a 5-2 win over the Ottawa Braves on Satuday at Salina Tennis Alliance.
The Coyotes opened by winning the doubles point winning two of the three matches.
Paul Jittawait and
Dawson O'Donnell beat Daniel Sanchez and Valentin Corriger 6-3; and
Jacob Phelps and
Lucas Gomez Giraldo beat Matias Mazieres and Juan Parra 6-0.
Ottawa won one of the doubles matches as Jarmo Perez Wienese and Enzo Ceravolo beat
Alex Sherer and
Gavin Chavez 6-1.
KWU continued on to win four of the six singles matches. Sherer beat Perez Wienese 7-6, 7-6, Jittawait beat Corriger 6-4, 6-2; Chavez beat Parra 6-1, 6-0; and
Porter Anderson beat Mazieres 7-6, 1-6, 6-2.
Ottawa won two matches as Sanchez beat Phelps 6-3, 6-2; and Ceravolo beat O'Donnell 6-0, 6-3.
The Coyotes are now off until March 23 when they head to Saint Mary.
