LEAVENWORTH – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Tennis stayed unbeaten in the KCAC at this point topping the Saint Mary Spires 4-3 on Monday.
The Coyotes are now 3-0 in the KCAC and are 5-4 overall.
Wesleyan won the doubles point winning two of the three matches.
Rylee Frye and
Hayden Bellamy beat Mia Rojas and Shannon Finn 6-3; and
Corina Salas and
Alivia Sherer beat Courtney Standley and Monserrat Guerrero 6-3.
Saint Mary got a win in the other singles match as Rowen Weimers and Arsys Rojas beat
Adalyn Pfizenmaier and
Hailey Adami 6-3.
In singles, the Coyotes got three wins as Bellamy beat Mia Roajs 6-4, 6-2; Sherer beat Weimers 6-1, 6-0; and Adami beat Arsys Rojas 6-4, 6-2. Adami's win clinched the match for the Coyotes.
Saint Mary got three wins in singles as Finn beat Frye 6-1, 6-0; Guerrero beat Salas 3-6, 6-2, 7-5; and Standley beat
Isabella Myers 3-6, 6-3, 10-7.
The Coyotes head to McPherson on Wednesday.
